They say those around will always be a better judge for your character than yourself. Perhaps they are right. Perhaps not.

I wonder how ppl see me. I could never really describe myself in words. I never did totally understand myself. Most days when I describe myself, those words would only be a sketch of me in a moment of time.

I like to help ppl but I never thought of myself as self-less. There are times deep down I am waiting for a "thank you" or some sort of appreciation. Who am I?

I used to say lame joke all the time but that is not me. Friends who know me well would realize that I can be rather serious at times. Who am I?

I help others but in fact I am the one in need.

I always think that I am helpless if not hopeless. I did not totally quit ****ing. I could not bring myself to do it. I am over a quarter century old. Peers are getting married, child bearing, graduating with post grad degrees etc. Here I am.

I need time alone. Lots of time alone but yet I love company. I wish for company but yet more than often I never take the initiative to keep in touch with my friends. Losing touch. Why am I doing this?

I have always wanted group that will stick with me till end of days but I have always been elusive. "see how la..." "long story" "..." some of my most frequent phrases.

I always wanted some sense of achievement... that I can be recognized by society's standards. I am fully aware of the effort required of me but I lack the consistency, patience and drive. Where do I stand?

I want to come across as a pleasant person yet I can never stop myself from being critical of others (sometimes). I need more "goodness". I need a longer fuse too.

I can be optimistic at times. I might be objective in certain moments. Yet, there are moments when I am in self denial. "having unique character" "standing out from the slaves of societal perspectives" some of the many excuses. wait... maybe they are not excuses. still... I never really did get myself to break free from social practices. I still seek for social acceptance.

So many things about me that I am unsure. I continue writing forever. When I re-read this post I might think that certain sentences does not reflect my identify. One things is certain though. I am past oriented.

I finally found the first phrase that describes me. past oriented.

Do you have words or phrases that will accurately define you? be very honest to yourself. I have always admired people who can really say who they are, what they like etc.

Finally done with my last paper in HELP University College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia !! My next chapter will start in University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. ^^

Completed my paper on Monday. The paper was unexpectedly more challenging. Anyway, when I completed my last paper... I did not feel particularly ecstatic. =\

Where do I go from here? Some time back, I lost track of time and my sense of order. I messed up my discipline. Most of the time I will do which ever task that comes to my mind. I will persistently complain to my friends that I have a lot of task to complete. Yet, when it comes to accomplishing these task, I would more than often procrastinate ...

Where do I go from here? I have to make a confession. I really do not know what I have to and when should I get things done. I'm lost. I know I have to make preparations for my studies at UQ, I know I have to sort out all the things in my student club (H.O.P.E.), I know I should be picking up the phone to call my friends and catch up with them before I leave.... beyond that I really do not know what else should be done.

I am under pressure to make sure that my student club's first event would turn out great. Then again, I can always just escape my responsibilities and play a game of hide and seek with the school administration. After all, I am officially done with HELP UC.

There is never a guideline to all the things we need to do in life. Busy here and busy there. Yet, at the end of the day, we do know what why are we so busy and what have we accomplished. How nice if life was more straight forward.

Haven't really got myself updated on the latest gadget, news and other stuff. I need to start clicking on all my net browser bookmarks and getting myself better informed on things.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.

I realized I haven't been blogging since September last year. Between this time, I have completed two semesters. Time flies...

One month away from flying to Australia. I have mixed feelings.

All my life, I have been moving from one place to another. Two primary schools, two secondary schools, two batch of college mates and now three universities in three different countries. Frankly, I am tired of moving about too much.

The past two years ... so many things happened. Thinking back, I really appreciated all the things that happened over these two years. All those bitter and sweet memories.

Looking ahead... there's just too much uncertainty. I am not too keen to take the leap of faith.

Anyway, one month left. I will be sitting for my finals on Monday and over the next few weeks I will have to conclude things for my new student club, make preparations for studies in Aussie and ... Phew! Life is never easy.

There will be farewells to be said. I did not do a great job when I came back from Singapore. When I left, I left many friendships hanging as well. I was and still is never good with farewells. Sigh...

Have to go and hit the books for now... Happy Birthday Crystal!

Done with mid terms...

Since I only have lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and the Raya public holiday starts on Friday, my long break started from Tuesday. I have been rotting since then and totally lost momentum to get anything done.

I woke up this morning and decided that I should start doing something productive. The first thing that came to my mind was to update my blog. (Well... it's about time. LOL.)

Since my last visit, couple of event took place. There was Malaysia's national day, my sister's birthday, my mid terms, my parents' wedding anniversary. Well, where there's festivities, there will be unfavorable events as well. ='(

My lower secondary school best buddy left KL for a job in Singapore.... dammit. Now my primary school best buddy/neighbor is in Singapore, my lower secondary best buddy/neighbor is in Singapore, my upper secondary, A-levels, ex-university best friends are in Singapore. I hate you Singapore!! ='(

Luckily I still have these bunch of people to accompany me. =)

I am totally hooked on Starcraft 2 and Liar Game (manga) the last few days. I read a couple of chapters of Liar Game few years back but I was never quite into it until these past few days when I revisited the manga.

I have been indulging myself with lots of good food lately... correction, I was fortunate to be treated to feast of good food lately. I am still not financially independent to treat myself such extravagant meals.

Gram's birthday celebration at Noble House. Sister's birthday celebration at El Cerdo @ Changkat Bukit Bintang. Parents' wedding anniversary celebration at Shook @ Starhill. That said, I missed another treat at Ciao@ Jalan Tun Razak. damn. LOL.

Value for price? I think El Cerdo is number uno. My first time tasting Jamon Iberico (in lay man term - cured ham from black pig). Service quality is awesome and they have the best ribs in town. Well... things are a little pricey though.

I have so many things I want to say...

I promised a friend that I will post as many interesting things as possible but there is just so many. I took time from the long weekend break to blog hunt and web surf so I have tonnes of interesting things to share.

Besides that, I have tonnes of thoughts that I wish to express. Where do I start?!

I have mid terms next week (i.e. tmr). This semester is surprisingly more difficult to managed as compared to the previous semesters. Oh well... all things should still turn out well.

Finally... new place to recommend POCO @ Bangsar, KL. Nice little restaurant that reminds me of MADD @ red dot design museum. I really miss those days hanging out at red dot. I wonder if things changed over there... the last time I went for a stroll I ended my journey at Book Actually @ Club Street. POCO made me miss Singapore. ='(

While preparing my tutorial answer for submission I came across Lucas critique, Goodhart's Law, Campbell's Law etc. Now more than ever I know which specialization I want to pursue in Economics. Since 1970s people have been talking about combining social factors and combining microeconomics with macroeconomics, yet here I am almost half a century later hoping that some time in the future I can further enhance Economics study in this line.

My friend who works as a "personal financial adviser" asked how I feel now as people are expecting economics theory to become obsolete. I replied saying financial theories and models can be obsolete but economic models can only be improved and never obsolete. I still stand by that! To me that is just some ignorant fool spouting non-sense statement.

Economists work with assumptions and we always criticize theory to further improve existing ones. Theories like supply and demand will never change... How will Economics be obsolete? Those "finance" people are the ones who change their claims from time to time. Just look back to the previous economic crisis and you will realize "finance" people are the ones who caused the crisis. Lousy, greedy and self-centered people who created mortgage securities that they do not even understand.

I fell ill two days back. It was not fun at all. Mom nagging about how she usually ask me to drink more fluids, how she thinks my room is warm and how she always ask me not to stay in my room etc etc. All those unreasonable nagging. Screeching when dinner is ready and all...

I lashed back "why you getting all worked out?!"

being sick these days is not fun. I was on the bed after lunch on Sunday and I spent most of my time on the bed until Monday night. Even after one day (Sunday) of rest and two doze of 1000mg paracetamol, my fever was beyond 38.5.

The up side? I repaid all my sleep debt. Feeling so much better now... thanks Soo Yee, Teresa, Phik Tee, Catherine and Sean for your well wishes. =)

It is confession time... I think I'm a hypocrite.

I dislike how people make distasteful comment about others yet I enjoy gossip. I guess most people are the same. We do not welcome negative comments on ourselves and yet we do not stop ourselves from commenting on others.

I like to help people yet I desire reciprocation/acknowledgment. I guess it is normal as most people do not like to be taken for a joy ride or being taken advantage of. Still, I make quite a big fuss about it. Yet after every time I complain about people taking advantage of me, I will still continue my old ways.

Maybe I should be more self-centered? Then again, if everyone thinks that way then the world would be a sucky place. I believe in the concept of "paying it forward".

I want to be "successful". While I fully understand the effort required of me, I am lazy and I like to procrastinate.

I talk about ideas, plans and many things I wish to do. Unfortunately, I seldom follow up. It is as if I am giving myself a tight slap.

I wish to be a totally nice guy yet sometimes I do selfish things that hurt people's feelings. This is especially true when it comes to relationships (friendships, boy-girl relationships etc.)

I convince myself that I can live with what I have yet in the back of my mind I always want more.

I tell myself and my friends to move on yet most of the time I sulk over history...

most of the time money and other practical things are more important. As for the other little occasions courtesy, chivalry, tact and reciprocation is quite important. (i.e. people are rational, demanding, selfish and practical creatures)

On other stuff... I wish I can express my concern (that my friends should start putting serious effort into work) to my friends but I guess it is only normal to enjoy the moment. I have been through the same phase. Evidently, I fooled around too much and screwed up big time. I am no nerd but I have learn my lesson and I think results no matter how unimportant is not insignificant. It's sucks to see your friend way ahead of you in the rat race ten years down the road.

In a nutshell... you would not want to sacrifice future well-being, would you? Wait till you are in your mid life crisis then you will realize how some of your friends are so much better of than you.

You wake up to check your social network website account but you are reminded that your peers are ahead of the game and you are trailing behind. Your friend calls you about his wedding and insist that you be his group of best man. You wish to be happy for your friend but you are reminded once again that you are falling behind the rat race. You frown.

You laugh you cheer but only for the moment. The next (moment) you will be reminded that you have disappointed your family and friends... most of all yourself. You can never laugh like before or feel like before. You frown.

Your friends and family cheers you up and motivates you but you know sweet words fade away when reality sets in. You know deep inside that time will correct all wrong but you are impatient as an hour feels like a day and a day feels like a month. LIFE IS DEPRESSING.

Last week was another great week with my bunch of coursemates! I used to wish the semester last longer so that I can live in familiarity and routine. I hated long breaks cause I always run out of things to do.

Now? I am enjoying every bit of my holidays!! Unfortunately, my year one break is coming to an end. NO!!!

The week started with this super duper cute rabbit my coursemate(trying not to name people on my blog) bought. Then there was endless hours of facebook comments and tagging ... I literally went out every night hanging out with coursemates hunting for presents, consoling and entertaining or just plain movies and dinner. =)

Toy story 3 was great!! Totally worth Q-ing twice just to try our luck for the reserved seats. (We had to queue twice because the first time we reached the counter the cinema haven't release the reserved seats)

Everything about the week was awesome except for the mosquito that kept me awake until 4 or 5 am this morning!! !@#$%^

something are easier said when kept simple...

I just want to say I had the best time of my semester break last week. The week started with 3 days 2 nights trip to Kuantan, followed by two days of rest before Bak Kut Teh dinner at Klang and it ended with Feta De La Musique.

The best part of the whole week - the company. The same group of friends who went to Kuantan went to Klang and enjoyed the French music festival together.

P/S: not uploading pictures because (as my friends put it) I do not have any proper picture. lol =P

I live with tough luck all the time. Most of you guys know that I like to think a lot so it is no surprise that I pen down notes all the time. So whenever my computer crashes or handphone dies, I loose a lot of "ideas". Unfortunately, incidents like these happen all the time. Just few days back I accidentally deleted a series of notepads on my desktop.... sigh.

Oh wells, the past week has been relatively normal. The usual surfing, reading, hanging out and all. Hmm... got "Plants vs Zombie" from my friend couple of weeks back. (Lost my old game file cause my laptop was stolen earlier this year) On my "free" time, me completing my zen garden collection. Hehe.

I realized how much effort it takes to "keep up". Life after facebook has been a lot about live feeds, friend's post and playfish games or bejewel. Kinda got myself outdated as a result. I was hanging out w a friend the other day sharing some (stuff I thought was) new marketing concept. Evidently, I being the "just started to keep up" me, I was corrected.

let's see... I realized I have not spoken in detail how I kill time these days. HAHA.

As per my friend's request. I'm inviting any body who might be interested to join me hike Bukit Tabur. If you do not mind joining my primary school friends, you are more than invited to come over coming Sunday morning approximately 5am.

If you dun want to work so hard, I would recommend a pleasant cafe breakfast at Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie @ Jalan Delima. My family "accidentally" found this place one Sunday morning. Located meters away from the city center, this cafe is unusually comfortable for a delightful Sunday breakfast. (no working crowd or heavy traffic on Sundays). If you walk a little further to Jalan Imbi, you will find Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom. You can purchase your favorite chocolate but remember to tell them you are local and not a tourist.

Well... the after effects of emo-ing was a series of soul (sole) searching and reflecting. As a result, I realized that my weekly web surfing habit have been very much limited to 4-5 blogs, 3-4 manga, facebook, youtube, wikipedia and e-mails. Wiki and little bit of Google plus facebook games make up the largest portion.

Seeing how uninteresting my surfing habit has become, I went on exploring new blogs and websites on designs, marketing, creative and intriguing stuff. The main reason may be the new computer that has no bookmarks or rich internet history. In any case, I think it is great that these days I do not only come online because of facebook or blogs. These things will "eat" you up. It is some what pointless to put so much weight on facebook and stuff. It's the friends that matters so don't let the internet consume you!

What do I really like? my friend asked. I like walking like a tourist exploring new places in a place where you think you are all so familiar with. So... I started googling for more places of interest and Langkawi Sky Bridge is going to the list of places I wanna check out. I wonder why most of my friends who go to Langkawi only stick to the beach and the duty-free stuff? Is the sky bridge something new or is it too far and not worth going? P/S: pardon me for being so ignorant. the last time I really explored Langkawi was decade ago.

I've been suffering some serious memory and brain malfunction these few days. I cannot seem to remember issues, ideas etc that I want to read up these days. Some time back, I watched a movie on Tom Ripley. I was interested to read up more on Ripley and even get the saga but the thought slipped my mind once the movie ended. These little "ah interesting! I should go check this out" things will be forgotten within minutes...

Then there's another problem with communication. I tend to commit more spelling mistakes these days. I remember spelling "hiking" as "hicking" the other day. Mentally I took note of my mistake but I could not figure out what is wrong. Hmm....

Tonnes of things in my mind... need to get it out. My friend was right. I think too much...

Couple of weeks/months back, I met up with my Indonesian god-sister and friends. Almost everyone was a psychology graduate and some of them are clinical psychologist. Stress. Anyway, one of them diagnose me as someone with an existing personality trait but aspiring to acquire some other "ideal" personality.

Looking back, I think somethings she said was true. Unfortunately, I cannot make out which traits are good and which one of my traits are changing for worse.

I lost passion for many things and I feel that I am growing to be an anti-social, demotivated, self-destructive and low self-confidence pessimist. The only positive thing is that I have became more self-aware. Back then, I might not be able to tell when I did something wrong. I used to piss a lot of people off.

Now, I still piss people off but at least behind the scene I knew I screwed up. Speaking of which, I think I screwed up quite a lot lately. I overreacted a little too much and I am a little too intolerant... Anyway, nothing changes. Realizing my mistake but not acting to improve or recover the situation just means bring me back to square one. Ha.

Random chatter... I think I have lost so much motivation and initiative that my intellectual capacity has stop progressing and I am super outdated with things these days.

I feel like Smeagol right now....

I also feel like Tyki Mikk. I'm getting colder and colder.... turning away from the white side into the black side.

I have been rotting away the last few days... oh NO!! Basically spent the last few days hanging around (one) shopping center - Midvalley Megamall.

Finally cured my mamak withdrawal last night!! Almost one week without night time outings can kill me. I got so desperate that I called my friend out just so that I can drink teh at night... weird huh.

Finally purchased my laptop this morning. Ya-hoo!! Now I can work in total comfort and privacy.

Hmm... oh yeah. I finally got hold of my NTU sociology lecturer who eventually sent me a intro text on sociology (10 questions a sociological perspective) . If you guys are interested to exercise your sociology imagination, just msg me and I will sent the scanned text to you. Speaking of which.... went to MPH the other day and I couldn't find any sociology section. bleah.... they are bundle selling books like catch 22, road less travelled, brief history of time and to cut a long story short. 3 for the price of 2. hmm... tempting.

let's see... final exams ended on 23rd. I finally got into the mood of getting things done. I guess one week of holidays is kinda enuff.

So... I climbed Broga Hill, watch "Ip Man 2" and "Beauty on Duty", catch couple of episodes of "Glee" and "The Pacific", bought "The Return of the Economic Naturalist", lotsa window shopping and supper-ing over the last week.

In fact, I'm so used to all these that I am currently suffering from mamak withdrawal symptoms. During the semester my gang would patronize the Indian-Muslim food stalls everday. During the exams and the few days after, I would be suppering until late night. Now... I'm rotting at home after dinner. I NEED MY MAMAK!!

Oh well... current plan for the holiday includes hiking Bukit Tabur (since I conquered Broga Hills) , confirm my participation in Stand Chart 42km run, read a lot of rubbish so as to continue consistent blogging on oomphideas.com, start ground work for my research...

There's couple of other side plans as well but mainly I am taking my friend's advice to put more effort into job search. Hopefully I can update you guys of the job search results in my next post. Otherwise... I am thinking of starting a club in HELP. I am working on a rough concept I have. I need feedback on what you HELPers think you want most out of a club and what you hope to get from university life other than academic achievements.

If the response is good, I will push for the club to start in the new semester. So... do spread the word around. The more ppl respond the more likely I will start the club. Otherwise, I will just focus on my own research and personal interest.

oh wellz. I officially ended my second year 1 of uni life. Funny... I went to two primary schools, two secondary schools and now two universities. lol. so many thing I wanna update but I am just too lazy.. I will just share one youtube clip.

Most people go crazy for American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance or Amazing Race but the "got talent" series seems to be less famous... I wonder why. Here's Terry Fator - impressionist, ventriloquist, comedian, and singer.

The only and biggest problem now is I DUNNO WHAT TO DO FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS OF HOLIDAYS !!!

Option 3. apply for a proper low-paying part time job.

Laptop was stolen on Monday and final examination starts next week so I guess I will not be blogging until the end of my examinations.

it's Friday. I'm kicked back to my old room. sobs. No more single deluxe.

one assignment due today. completed but subject to change ... that is if we can get hold of our tutor and if she require us to change anything ...

Gosh... this is tiring. First, the business plan competition. Then my business law assignment. Now my marketing assignment and finally my cost management assignment due next Wednesday. work work work.... finals is just about two weeks away!!

Seriously I do not see how all these effort I put in will contribute to my progress in life. I am still due to graduate in two years. Nothing can change that fact. I do not see how I can get tonnes of As because my university pitch A to be 90% or above.

Some marks will definitely be deducted from assignments. Therefore, I need to almost score full marks for mid terms and final examinations. I am at the crossing where I decide to just give up trying so hard to get my A and where I continue to "chiong" consistently for my As. ....

Seriously, what's the point? I am killing myself just trying to get As. Little careless mistake here and there and there goes my A. !@#$% Just because I got 100%-35% wrong in my cost management mid-terms... I went to change some variables and I got huge marks deduction. argh!!!

WHY STUDY SO HARD!!?! I always felt that assessment grades is a poor indicator of understanding.

oh well, I hope my assignments can compensate my careless mistakes in mid-terms. *pray pray*

Three weeks to final examinations (by Monday) and I still have 3 assignments not completed. Two due next week and one more due the week after. ARGH...

"beware of the man who has nothing to lose" read this phrase from my friend's msn status. Hmm... maybe I should adopt this attitude instead of hovering over the past. Since I made a mess out of my life, I have nothing much to lose. I am quarter of a century old with nothing to show of except a tainted list of achievements. What else is there to lose...

A zombie is a creature that appears in books and popular culture typically as a reanimated dead or a mindless human being.

Slowly but surely I am turning into a zombie. Before this I was busy with the HSBC business plan competition as well as mid-term examinations. About two weeks later, I am occupied with 3 assignments due in two weeks + 1 quiz + finals examinations starting in less than four weeks time.

To make things feel worse, I have the feeling that...

I have not worked very hard this semester
I am still not working at efficient capacity
Generally, most people have started revision
I would not be able to achieve my target grade if I do not start revision like everyone else
Some people are starting to expect a little too much from me
I am somewhat (a little only) concern with not being able to live up to expectation
I need to get the best result possible just to attain some sense of achievement.

(Coincidentally, this sense of achievement is somewhat delusional. B'coz at 25, most of my friends are already working or achieving much more)

Since my last blog post I have been more active in attempting to churn out a decent post on both of my blogs. Blank mind every time I sign in to blogger. Result - attempt fail.

As such, I decided to just write anything that comes to my mind whenever it comes to my mind.

My neighborhood best friend came back to KL for a few days. I manage to catch hold of him last night and we had a long chat. As we were talking about couple of friends who, like me, are still studying or have not completed undergraduate education... my friend commented on how some of these friends might graduate when they are 27-28 and how their results will be mediocre... he went on saying how at 28 years old all your friends would be earning at least 3 to 4 times more... bleah bleah.

Bottom line is that I felt the same way about myself. I recently got my mid-term results for business statistics - 18.5/20. I did not really feel ecstatic because deep inside I felt that whatever I do... I will only graduate in another two years time and no matter how hard I try... I cannot change my past mistake of screwing up my results when I was studying in Singapore.

I have to do some extra tut before heading for lessons because my bloody law tutor asked me to and insisted that I print my result for the tutorial group. !@#$% So called reward because I managed to answer a question that no one else either bothered to answer or do not know how to answer. bleah...

Finally, I have a short and well-deserved break. Mid terms is over and I have just finished my cost management continual assessment. Plus! I submitted the entry for second round my the HSBC business plan competition. Gosh... I can finally declare that I am done with a burden that has been tormenting for the last month of so...

When I finally took on to continue blogging, I had some hard times trying to decide where to start and what to write. Phew... tonnes of thoughts to share, happenings to update and emotions to express...

I did some reflecting on the things that happened since the start of the year. Over the last couple of week, I experienced tonnes of mixed emotions. There were times when I felt down, demotivated and mellow. There were times where I simply feel frustrated, angry and totally unreasonable. Where shall I start to tell you how I felt and why I felt so? hmm... never mind.

Some moments I wish I just shout everything out here but everytime I reach the part I am suppose to write those things down I just go blank. sigh...

Going ahead, I have three assignments due around the end of the month. Another continual assessment on the 27th. Then in early April I will be expecting most of my mom's relative in town for "cheng ming". ie. no conducive environment to study until end of April which coincidentally is the time for final examinations. sigh...

me is some what unsettled lately. me feeling lazy and unmotivated yet me having little burst of energy in between. me is unorganized yet mentally planned everything out...

I get this feeling of being pushed back and forth for the last couple of weeks. One minute I just want to slack and rot in front of my laptop then the next moment I will be cracking my brains trying to come out with some new ideas. I might feel lonely for a minute but I will wish I have some private time later. I would send out "hello" messages every other day but I have yet to get back to my friends when they replied.

hmm... need to set things straight NOW. Hopefully this long weekend would prove useful for me to reset my body and mind. Then again... I have always been lame/crazy/annoying but serious/un-entertaining/nice at the same time.

Gosh... I haven't updated my personal blog for more than a week already. I have been feeling a little bored, unmotivated, lazy and not-so-chatty these few days. oh well...

Let's see... back from Kuantan, just went through first week of lessons...

I must say "I LOVE KUANTAN!! The last time I been there was probably some twenty years ago so I cannot remember anything from my previous trip. My S'pore friends, Kuantan is the state capital of Pahang state which is located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

What do I like about Kuantan? I like the fact that there's a very clean (by Malaysian standards) beach. I like the vast space and the tonnes of greenery. I like the semi-slow paced life. I like the fact that I did not hear a single car honk throughout our 3days 2nights stay. I like ...

On to other news.. lessons started and tutorials will commence this week. I signed up for Marketing, Management Account, Business Law and Business Statistics this semester. Beside the Marketing lecturer, everything else seems O.K. Oh yeah, I got another A- for Macroeconomics last semester. Sigh... I get the feeling that I am cursed to fall short of a perfect A grade.

reflecting for the new year...

I am starting to feel that new years are overrated. So what if it is Jan 1 2010? Nothing much changes beside the last digits on the date.

The economic crisis is still here to stay. AH1N1 is still looming around. Freak weather and climate issues are worsening etc.

Aaanyway... I guess I was simply grumpy and grouchy the last few days. I suppose my self-reflecting has something to do with me feeling negative. Amongst the many things that went through my head, the issue that struck me hardest was this renewed sense of low self-esteem.

I was thinking about issues like "where am I going since it is the new year?", "what have I done in the past?", "what/who is E.T.?" (talents/habits/achievements/failures..) etc.

When I finally found some answers for myself, I realized how inconsequential some of (self overrated) achievements were. Once, my college roommate and I joined an animation competition and all I ever did was contribute ideas for the storyline. There's another time, I emotionally scarred certain female friends and now I feel apologetic. On a macro scale, there is nothing much in my life for me to brag about (intellect/co-curricular achievements/skill or talents/personal possessions).

After all those negative thoughts, I felt strongly for one of my revelations. I realized the inadequacy of my cognitive ability and I want to be one the receiving end of comments like "why didn't I think of that" some day. I am desperate to be the human encyclopedia and super thinking machine. I want to be able to make independent analysis of issues and problems.

Oh well, new semester starts on Monday. I will be in Kuantan from tomorrow till Sunday for my cousin's wedding. On the lighter note, do you know that the world's longest film lasted for 6 days and 6 hours?! I only found out when googling on movies for the coming new year.

Anyway... short update. Parents were away last weekend to attend my cousin's wedding in Bali. Well, my parents were away so I had to settle my own meals and naturally I took this excuse to meet up with as many friends as possible. I shan't bore you with the details except to say that the week was pretty much spent hanging out, catching up, chilling, going crazy etc.

Anyone got any suggestions for my new year's resolution? *thinking* ... don't suggest me to quit THAT bad habit. I am working on it!!

I take back what I say about holidays being boring and friends being so far away... Perhaps it is the end of year or perhaps I got it wrong from the beginning, this year end holidays seem to be rather fun filled and somewhat hectic for me. =p

Everyone (metaphorically) is back. Meet ups and gatherings were so well spread out the past week that there wasn't any day I felt bored... those time not spent with friends were spent running errands with my parents or simply watching TVB drama with mom. I am not a "drama series person" but mom will never start watching any drama alone. I decided to break my own habit for this once. Both mother and son completed the critically acclaimed "Beyond the Realm of Conscience".

Hmm... I shan't bore you with other details of the week except perhaps the fact that I got ear infection after trying to clean my ear the other day. Dang... the pain was excruciating. A word of advice for you guys... if you hurt yourself when cleaning your ear, make sure you seek treatment before the wound gets infected. Do not end up like me... even now my hearing with my left ear is still somewhat muffled.

Evil twin came to town for a seriously short trip this week but the whole time was awesome. Tonnes of catch up, tour and.... I finally got an excuse to get a ride on hop on hop off bus. I had listed that down as things to do for last semester's break. Overall an enjoyable and refreshing trip. Did you know that Malaysia has the largest free flight walk-in aviary?!

Anyway... the week was filled with nights out with friends new/old. I enjoyed the company of a couple (literally a couple of twins) new friends. Great laughter and jokes. Oh yeah... we finally submitted our entry for HSBC YEA competition.

I have this feeling that I have done tonnes of things and been to tonnes of place... yet, it is barely one week into the holidays!!

One week into the holidays and I have... spent consecutive nights on the internet doing discussions, hung out in shopping centers for hours over the weekend, meet up with a few friends whom I did not catch up with during the lesson weeks, chill to great music and awesome drinks, movies, gaming, etc...

Still... Mom's birthday's tomorrow and my best friend from college is coming from Sg after dinner. I am suppose to meet up with my neighborhood friends one of these days too. Then there's my competition dateline on 11th. then there is bleah bleah ....

Couple of my friends can identify several of my weakness... being easily fired up on few specific issues, cannot stop thinking once I going to this thinking mode and so called alter ego...

Over the course of the last two days, I have been spending some time preparing for the Young Entrepreneur Awards competition. During this period I have configured my brain to only focus on business plan... from assessing business plan, trying to improve on existing ideas etc. In doing so, I triggered "thinking mode". As a result, I was awake the entire time for last night but with my eyes shut. darn... I need to control my thoughts and not let my thought control me.

Another long break has begun... unlike the previous holiday, I do not have so much energy to plan and execute a research or do anything complicated...

I still hate holidays. I think people lose touch during long breaks away.

I was supposed to join my friends for a day trip to Genting but I decided against it for some personal reasons. In the end... I have my whole evening for discussion for some competition my friend convinced me to join. Click Here.

Final examinations will start/end tomorrow. Sorry for being so infrequent in posting. Days leading to exams are those times when I feel less keen to blog.

Anyway, I still feel down/frustrated (from few weeks back...) Quite a few of the people around me are moving so far ahead in life while I feel so helplessly behind.

I shall update you all in greater detail on the weeks past and some interesting plans I have ahead... very soon.

These few weeks have been somewhat emotional to me. I was/am constantly flooded with emotions...

You might ask if anything terrible/significant happened. No need to worry... my life is quite ok lately (except for the the theft, car accident and laptop crash)...

I am just feeling frustrated that I am not doing what I know I should be doing/need to do...

I am feeling desperate because I think I am getting a little too lazy and starting to deteriorate...

I am feeling sad/nostalgic because I miss the old times, the "used to"s and all my friends so far away from me

I am feeling regretful for all those mistakes I did to ppl/myself over the last few years.... I feel more frustrated that I am not doing what I need to do to avoid being regretful...

I am feeling emo/empty and confused yet I cannot precisely identity the cause nor describe my feelings in detail....

Somethings are universally true for most situations... eg. some routine will be difficult to pick up once you stop. At least I feel that this applies to me and blogging.

After being away for one month, I am not certain how to start my story. I shall not bore everyone with all the minor events that led up to this day. Image... 30 odd days of happenings. Let's see...

Just before the start of this semester, some thief smashed my dad's car window and stole my favorite bag. I was on having lunch with dad before a planned trip down the library. Fortunately/unfortunately, I only had my Ipod shuffle, two library books and water bottle. Interestingly, some kind soul found the two library books... *long story*

Then just last Friday, I got into my (technically) first car accident. I drove my friend home after the mid term examinations. Shortly after exiting the housing estate, I slammed into the car in front of me. I guess I lifted my foot of the break when I was distracted by object dropping from the back seat onto the car floor. Sighs....

Pardon me for being away for such a long time. I have been absent from blog space for a month now. Initially I wanted to take a short leave of absence from blogging/the internet so that I can refresh myself. I feel that internet has the ability to consume precious time that could otherwise be used for more beneficial purpose. Thus, I will take breaks from the internet to stop myself from indulging in facebook, msn or blogging.

Two weeks into my non-internet lifestyle and my laptop broke down. By the time I had my laptop fixed, another two weeks passed. As a result, I was away from the internet for one full month.

Now that I am back, you can look forward to updates from my every few days.

I must apologize for being absent from blogging for such a long time. Lately, I have been experiencing a serious case of "avoid the internet" illness. Sometime two weeks back... I started spending less time on internet social utility tools each day. Two weeks later... I have totally stopped engaging in any form of Facebook games, blogging activities etc.

I have not been doing much this week so there's nothing much for me to talk about. Perhaps my weekend might get a little interesting. *praying praying*

I realized that I have not been talking about places of interest for quite some time. I am starting to wonder if it is because I have not been going to places lately or is there some other reason.

Let's see... If you plan to spend couple of days in KL, you would probably be interested to visit some restaurant with great ambiance. I remember talking about places such as DELIcious, Tamarind Springs or perhaps NECOTECA. Besides these places, there's the apartment, the library, souled out, 7atenine, sky bar, luna bar etc. Maybe someday I will really pen down places of interest and summarize them in one post.

last week of semester break..

Oh yes! Finally, the long and boring/senseless holiday is coming to an end. I was suppose to head down to Singapore this week but I canceled the trip for another trip to Ipoh and Cameron. I guess I will just head down to Singapore during the X'mas break instead.

Unfortunately, my Ipoh trip was canceled at the last minute. SIGH. This week is going to be a lot less interesting than what I expected. Oh well, at least the previous week of holiday was eventful.

Bro finally brought his girlfriend home last Monday. Mom had so much to ask. -.='' Anyway, I was not too impressed cause I knew my bro was attached since months ago. In any case, the whole event was quite fun to watch.

I had to clean the whole house last week because the weekly maid was sick. @#$% She'd better come tomorrow. I do not want to spend the entire day cleaning again.

Besides that, I met up with couple of friends. Two days of guys night out with pool, beer and steamboat on Wednesday and mamak on Thursday. A small get-together with primary school friends on Friday.

Oh yeah... I found "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli and books by philosophers such as Plato in my school library! I have been trying to get my hands on the original books for ages. When I finally got hold of those books, I realized I could not totally understand the content. =.=

Week two of my semester break just whisk past like the entire week never existed. I still remember how everyone was talking about the long Raya weekend. That was one week ago. This really goes to show how time flies.

Last week was mostly about staying home to do some reading and a little cyber-gaming with my friend. There was couple of appointments with old friends on non-working days. Other than that the week was not too eventful.

Interestingly, for most of the week, I felt angry/frustrated for no apparent reason. After much thinking, I deduced that I was experiencing "mamak stall withdrawal symptom". I came to the conclusion when I realized I did not have my teh-o-ais-limau/teh-ais for more than a week. O.o

SO... running through my holiday "to-do" list... I've touched on manga, Nintendo Wii, drama series, catching up with friends, reading books and reading for research. In other words, I need to be more proactive. There's still places to go and things to be done. LOL.

I feel the need to increase my cognitive analysis ability. I feel so... dumb.

I guess the "me still studying while most of my friends have graduated and started working" syndrome has created this whole feeling that I have to increase my cognitive analysis ability. I want to learn how to look at things from different aspects and make professional judgment. I want to be able to make critical analysis of current affairs and read between the lines.

Argh... I feel so inadequate. When I look at MrWangSaysSo or other critical thinkers, I feel so small....

Heroes Season 4 has started. Yatta!!

Anyway, the long weekend is over and everyone is going back to work. This means no more yam cha/dinner/lunch appointments until the weekends. Sigh.

I have not been getting quality sleep lately. I have been having these weird dreams. I was quite convinced that what I felt was totally real. I had been having more than one dream the past few nights...

Most of the time my dreams center around me observing the things/event around me and thinking of new ideas. How should I say it... (it's quite difficult to describe the experience)

Hmm... you know how sometime people will dream about waking up from a dream right. At that instant, you come to the realization that the picture of your waking up is actually just another dream. For me, the dreams that I have been having the past few nights are somewhat similar to this illustration. The difference between my experience and waking from up in a dream is that I am continuously aware that I am dreaming. I am not sure if you call this out of the body experience. lol.

Happy Raya to all my Muslim friends !! Yup it's holidays now and today is a holy day (for Muslims).

So, let's see... activities check on my holiday thus far...

Wed. Slack. I had to drive down to school to help my Business I.T tutor with some admin work because my friends and I sort of agreed to help her (when we bumped into her during the exams). Best part was the other three monkeys (that I hang out with) went back to their home town. !@#$%. The next program was the usual "yam cha".

Thursday. Slack again. I do not remember doing anything interesting/significant. Darn...

Friday. Parents went to pay respect to my aunt who passed away 100 days ago. I was too lazy to tag along so I was home alone. I got so restless I headed to the school library to borrow some books on research method and designs. O.o

Saturday. Slack yet again.

(Oops. At this point, I'm thinking "Is my holidays that uneventful this half of the week? Impossible! Surely I did something these few days...")

Sunday. Finally got a chance to play Wii on the wide LCD. My arms are starting to hurt. Ouch! Lunch with my friend then did some reading at Starbucks while waiting for dinner appointment with another neighborhood friend. In the end, my dinner appointment was canceled. -.=''

Oww... I am looking forward to next week for there is more appointments and dates.

When my semester ended a few days back, I wanted to blog about what I feel about the semester break and not merely reporting on my activities...

So, I want to say... I do not really like long breaks.

When I was studying in Singapore, long breaks meant going back home and adapting to change to your usual routine. As a new semester begins, I will be very reluctant to go back to Singapore because I need to try to adapt myself to school life. I resist change.

Besides that, holidays meant that I have to head back to KL while my friends in Singapore will have their own activities (w/o me). As a result, I would have a lot catching up to do.

I do not have a plan for this semester break but I am trying to piece something together:

My first weekend for the holidays just came and gone. So, what have I been up to so far?

Saturday. Moral Studies paper in the afternoon. Dinner with aunt @ Italiannies, Mid Valley.

Sunday. (Did I say I woke up to the afternoon sun before the edit? Oops.) My sister's phone call woke me up. I had to drag myself out of bed because my parents want to chat with my sister in US using my laptop. After my sister queried about the duration of my semester break, she suggested that I go pay her a visit.... O.o Guess what?! My parents actually offered to buy my ticket to US. Better yet, my sister offered to pay for all my expenses if I go pay her a visit!

The best part is .... I actually turned the offer down.

Sunday afternoon was spent shopping with my parents. After which, we headed to check out a development (Verticas Residensi) at Ceylon Hill. Dad almost convinced me that he is interested to purchase another house. Dinner was birthday celebration for my Grams @ Ming Room, BSC.

Monday. Laze around home in the morning. Accompany my parents to run some errands then shop for groceries at Mid Valley. Later, it was dinner with my college/university friends then on to cyber-gaming. My friend introduced a new game - Babo Violent 2. This game is definitely worth a try. Finally, we ended the day with a little Shisha.

Tuesday. Suppose to wake up early for badminton with the same gang (after discussion the day before). In the end, I only left my house around noon. Little detour here and there plus the afternoon traffic... we ended up playing our badminton game around 2pm. After two hours of badminton and lunch, I got to go home with all those office workers.... !@#$% All in all, I think I spent 3 hours on the road today. (Tmn Desa - HELP - One Utama - Wangsamaju - One Utama - HELP - Tmn Desa)

Here's one sneak peek clip of just one of the many stupid things we did. Click here. I was actually trying very very hard to mimic Cyril. Muahaha. Somehow the video did not turn out that nice on Youtube. The clip I had in my handphone is much better.

Amongst other things we did was to challenge each other to try out as many bed as we possibly can in the bed room section. Our crazy stunts did not end even as we left Ikea for the Curve and Cine. Here a picture of my friends daring me to milk the Marche cow in front of the crowd. *laughing until tearing* I wish I can slowly describe all the stupid things we did the other day. *stomach cramp*

The next day I woke up to an empty house. Everyone was out so I took the car to meet my buddy Andrew for lunch at Lim Mee Yoke @ Chow Yang SS2. Well, if you guys frequent SS2 or Murni's, try going a little further to Chow Yang for a change. The fried spaghetti is not too bad as well. Just behind the coffeeshop there's a shop that sells Chilli Pan Mee.

Friday afternoon was spent LAN-gaming. We had to end early because my friend was not feeling too good after playing first person shooter games. Next, I headed to the college hostel to fetch my friends for Bak Kut Teh @ Old Klang Road. The Bak Kut Teh there is overrated and somehow the taste was not as good as before. After dinner, we headed to Chillies @ Bangsar Shopping Center to meet up w another group of friends.

Phew... I'm done with my final examinations. Hmm... I self-proclaim that I am done. I still have my moral studies examinations on Saturday. I already scored 43 or 42 out of 60 and I just need couple of marks to pass. *evil grin*

This week in a few words....

Monday. IT for Business. I have nothing much to comment on the exam. I got to know my assignment marks on Monday as well. Turns out that I was heavily penalized for my assignments. Sigh... Somehow I feel that I am always missing that "mojo".

Tuesday. Accounting. Again I got nothing much to comment. I am probably not going to score because I screwed up my mid terms a little. The worst part of the day is driving to school to realize that everyone from other faculties have just started their lessons. I had to squeeze for a seat on the shuttle bus and the whole parking space was packed like sardine. *grumble grumble*

Wednesday. Management. Two phrase - hand aching and not enough time. Otherwise the paper was manageable.

Thursday. Economics. I do not know where to start. This is perhaps the toughest paper. After the paper, I do not feel excited nor demoralized. The idea that I have completed one semester with my favorite subject but toughest paper brings out mixed feelings.

After the examination, everyone headed for separate ways. Me and the guys were hoping to have Hokkien Noodle for lunch... failed. Next, we headed to LY's house hoping to enjoy a game of Nintendo Wii... failed again. We settled for movies and PSP instead. Lol. The night was spent chilling at the Curve, Ikea and Cine. We totally made a fool of ourselves.... (to be continued)

I should be checking and double-checking my answers this time tomorrow. First paper for final examinations will commence in approximately 21 hours. In the following days I will be attempting one examination paper each day.... but I am still not ready. Argh !!

After countless hours of inefficient studying, I am officially going to screw up my final examinations. I'm now in panic mode. *perspiring and breathing heavily*

Anyway, I figured I just tell ya all that I'm going to be away from blogging for a while. I do not think I will have the time to blog (at least) until I have completed my core subjects examinations.

I am still not quite prepared for final examinations. I desperately need divine intervention. *staring blankly into the skies*

When I get home every night I just cannot accomplish any form of revision. Dammit. The hours I spent studying in school are not well spent too... argh. At this rate, I am just waiting to screw up my results. Nooo !!

Anyway, couple days back I blogged about being disappointed with ungrateful friends and all... *deleted content*

Anyway... let's change the topic. "Kinder Bueno" is one of those things I cannot resist... just like Inari Sushi or a good Hokkien noodle. Recently, a great friend bought me one bar of Kinder Bueno. Pure bliss.... thanks to this simple gesture, all those negativity is gone and I feel better already.

Remembering that little gesture by my friend made me realized how negative my recent post have been. I re-read my post today and decided to delete all those negative content. I guess I should quit being so negative. If there is no negative things in this world, we would never know what is the positive things in the world.

I think I'm living in a state of ignorance. Final examinations starts next week and I have not completed revision for any subject. One week before the mid-terms I was working on the past year examination papers. What a big difference...HELP!

My achievements leading to final examinations can be summarized as follows:-

Completing 60+ chapters of manga/Japanese comic in less than a week.
Level up most of my Facebook games at (personal) record breaking speeds.
Completely failing to study a single page of notes/text during the National Day "group study session" with my friends.
Surfing for latest games, movies, drama series updates for hours.
etc.

To make matters worse...

Bro just bought Nintendo Wii console and 10 games.
Latest season of Heroes (series) is coming out soon so (I think) I have to catch up on the graphic novel.
Tonnes of new PSP games are due for release. (Grand Theft Auto Chinatown War, Assassin's Greed, Tekken 6...)
Tonnes of released PSP games that I have not tried. (Rock Band Unplugged, Prinny...)
Tonnes of manga (which I stopped reading for a while) with new and interesting storylines.
etc.

How i wish everyday is a Sunday... I finally managed to get some work done before lunch. Somehow, I had never been academically productive at home since the mid-semester examinations. Hmm... I wonder why.

Let's see... how should I summarize my week...

I recovered from my heart burn earlier this week but I was still having problems with my stomach. Most days after returning home I would be in and out of the toilet... trying to relieve myself of the excruciating pain.

There was a night I lost my cool in front of my mom. I felt darn awkward after that.... didn't know if I should apologize or not. After all she was the one nagging and nagging...

Anyway, the rest of the week was pretty much about trying very hard to study for finals and my final quiz on Thursday. Besides the bad stomach I had, the rest of the week went on quite well. The quiz was manageable. By chance, I attended the more important "optional consultation lectures" (ie. I got more hints/tips from the lecturers than other people ^^).

Well, I also missed out on a dinner/get-together session with my primary school friends on Friday as well as a "study/work retreat" to the highlands with my primary school friends. All because I am having this stomach problem... sigh.

Some people say I am very emotional while there are others who say I can be too rational. I would rather think that I never walk the middle path. Some friends have the impression that I joke too much and I am seldom serious. Others think that I try too hard to act funny but I am actually a very serious person. Again, I am of the two extremes and seldom moderate in my actions.

Do you consider me as having multiple personality? hmm...

Couple of days back, I had this outburst of emotion within me. I suddenly felt strongly that I was being taken advantage of because people think that I am a nice person.

In the bid to express my rage, I decided to channel my anger on friends and acquaintances. I started looking at people through their flaws. (This explains why I ended my previous post with that tone.)

At the peak of this surge of emotion... I began to think and act without consideration of emotion.

This is not the first time I had such experience. When I feel depressed or disappointed beyond a certain extent, I will get so frustrated that I will isolate myself and "insanity" will kick in. Well... at least now I am slowly coming to my senses.

O.K. updates !! ... I have been suffering from mid heart burn after my apparent food poisoning ordeal. I have not been experiencing these symptoms for a while (since secondary school). Darn... feels lousy.

In these days leading up to the final examinations, lessons are pretty much about consultation and revision. This week, half my lectures were canceled. I am trying to make use of these extra time to do my revision but somehow my efforts were somewhat inefficient. Sigh...

Oh well... did I mention anything about hanging out at park/lake/carpark with my buddy for half carton of drinks the other day? yeah... simply relaxing.

Anyway, I am feeling somewhat negative lately. I would somehow look at matters with little cynicism. Unappreciative friends, annoying people and frustrating issues... makes me feel like hiding in my own corner. Perhaps the pain and discomfort from the heart burn is stirring up all these grumpy and negative thoughts...

The problem with me and blogs is...when ideas start coming into my mind, they gush in like tidal wave. Sometimes I will just take a piece of paper and write the ideas down. On other occasions, I will grab my cellphone or laptop and write a note on the idea.

On a bad day, I will get a new idea even before I can sort the previous idea into understandable sentences. Argh... just so frustrating !!

Just take today for example. In the morning I was thinking about the correlation between maturity and religion. This was a continuation of the issue I blogged about a few days back. Before I can come to a conclusion on this issue, I came up with the idea of "garlic and onion" (see today's post in my ideas blog). Eventually, I gave up trying to write my first thought into words.

During dinner I came up with another idea about how someone can look into the pizza business from a different angle. argh...

I need time to double-check and proof read my ideas !! I am already having problems trying to present my ideas properly. Some of my ideas appear half-baked while others have poor presentation. I wish I can phrase it such that you guys can appreciate my ideas. sigh...

I think I need something to intoxicate my brain or something other than study notes and text to distract myself.

Weekend again! Yea-hoo~ Actually, half of my weekend is gone. Sigh. I need a longer weekend !!

Time is like Usain Bolt. The moments are only worth celebrating if they are short. -E.T.

Oh well, the second half of my week was spent in the restroom.... literally !! I managed to get some kinda food poisoning on Thursday morning. Felt sick for two full days... that means there's nothing much happening these days.

I was too unwell to do anything productive these two/three days but I managed to find something interesting. I think I had my worse cup of coffee this morning. Yuck! No choice... Coffee's the best substitute to keep me awake. Need to kick that habit.

I have never been good with follow ups. I think most of my friends would know me as jack of many trades but master of none. For once I want to make sure plans in my life are done accordingly... all the way till the end.

Hmm... finally completed my last assignment for the semester - Moral Studies. Yahoo~ At least now I can focus on revision.

Finally, after much rest and a lot of slacking... I manage to get myself together and start doing some productive work. If I keep up with this pace, I think I might just be ready for the finals in three weeks time. Just-in-time. LOL.

Let's see... a quick summary of what happened last week.

Monday I had to meet my dentist cousin and interview a lecturer for my moral project. So lame. Tuesday was nothing special then Wednesday I tried very very hard to complete my management assignment (due on Friday). Thursday, I had to interview another lecturer for moral project again. !@#$%. Well, interestingly this lecturer of mine believes in Bahai Faith. I came across this religion sometime ago but I never thought I would actually get to know someone who practices Bahai Faith. hmm... I would surely wanna know a believer of Zoroastrianism. LOL. Thursday night was spent attempting to come out with something for moral project cause Friday's my last chance to consult my tutor before the dateline.

Friday... replacement classes for 4 straight hours followed by 3 hours of moral lessons and quiz. Left the replacement class early to prepare for quiz and tidy my management assignment before submission. My worse assignment to date is my management assignment. HECK! After lessons I headed for the cinemas to catch G.I. Joe with junior from NTU. Next, I met up with my course mate to whack a couple of undead in a game of L4D. Lucky for me... my other two Friday appointments were canceled. HeHe.

Monday! Got home after spending 3 hours attempting to compile and complete my moral project with my group mate. Exhausting... to make matters worse, I decided to quit my BAD HABIT last weekend. Oof... (to be continued)

I am a little chattery today so I decided to change the time of this second post a little to make it appear below the original post. LOL.

I was super tired as I got home... took the TV remote and punched the power button. The first program I saw was this movie called "Recount". I watched this movie before and this is one movie I'd recon my friends to watch. This movie further reinforce my distrust in democratic leadership.

While I am at it... if you guys have the time, try reading "Daydream Believers" and catch "Thank You for Smoking."

Speaking of which.... I realized that I haven't been doing any reading since the start of the semester. I borrowed "Opposable Mind" before the semester started and I am still at it. damn... Even the frequency of me watching my favorite programs on Discovery Channel and National Geographic has reduced. Thank God for these two plus weeks of self declared break... I managed to catch some interesting documentaries. LOL.

I think I am really getting lazier. Even the frequency of me blogging has slowly decreased. Anyway, I think intensity of pleasure that one gains from blogging will increase if he/she blogs more often. Well, at least this applies to me.

As I start to blog less and less, I begin to feel that it requires a lot of effort to update my blog. I started this personal blog to update couple of friends in Singapore on what is happening in and around me. As the length between each blog increases... I dunno how or where to start telling my story. sigh. L-A-Z-Y.

Anyway, I shan't go into what's happened this week. It's just going to make the blog unreadable. Perhaps I will fill you guys in later...

Sometime between yesterday and now, I did some self-reflecting and I realized that I haven't put much thought into my actions lately. Simply put, I have been acting a little not-my-age lately. I was just thinking... perhaps I should just be a little more serious and be little how I used to be.

4 weeks to final exams and I still do not have the mood to study. I burnt the whole weekend doing nothing.

Spent my Saturday surfing the internet... found some cool stuff !! Here, here, here and here.

Suppose to wake and start doing my work on Sunday but mom had guest over so I had to clean the house instead. After lunch I was so moody I decided to go out for a drink and do some assignment material reading with a course mate. I hung around past dinner then met up with other course mates for supper/cyber-gaming session. lol. L4D was fun !!

Something tells me that my recent post on either one of my blog(s) is a little poor in terms of delivery. Just can't be bothered.... unmotivated and uninspired.

Another week starts.... sigh.

And there goes 10+ weeks of lessons in HELP University College. I wish things would just go a little faster....

four more weeks then final exams... and I am only done with my first semester. ~!@#$%

Thursday, went for lessons then got stuck in traffic for almost an hour when it usually takes me less than 15 min to go home. !@#$% Decided to go meet my Uni friends for dinner even when I was delayed by the traffic. By the time I got to the shopping mall, I got a sms saying that my friends have left the mall for food at some other hangout. !@#$%. Had to pay the parking for no reason.

Well... these few days were not all that bad. While having late lunch the other day, my padawan manage to pull off perhaps funniest joke of the month. Unfortunately, the joke of the day revolves around a friend, Mr X, who is adorably plump and has significantly distinct B.O. so I cannot share the joke in public.... BUT the picture more of less gives you a hint what our joke was all about.

Just back from parent-tutor day. YES... you heard it right. I have parent-tutor day in my Uni. ... L-A-M-E. I had a sneak peek of my mid-terms result. I think the result was within my expectation if I compare myself with the cohort but I am not so happy when I look at the numerical representation of the result individually. sigh... this is a sign that says I need to start working already.

phew... in a blink of an eye mid week is over. darn. Totally fail to realize that I have not blogged for such a long time.

What happened recently?
Saturday, dinner with "long lost" neighbor/primary school friend. Sunday, Microeconomics assignment then supper with "long-time-never-meet-still-studying-in-Sg" grand-daughter. lol. Great weekend catching up with friends.

Monday, last time trying to improve assignment before evening dateline. Tuesday, trying very hard to convincing myself to start working hard after my short post mid-term examination break. Result: FAIL. Wednesday, fail to convince myself to start studying hard again. lol.

Since my laptop got that weird problem with Windows, I haven't been able to get butt off the chair. Feeling uper lazy lately.

I suppose it is that "everyone is just done with their convocation and I am still stuck here" feeling that is causing all these trouble. For the past couple of days, several incidents/conversation topic/people prompt me to remember all those moments I spent in Singapore. Sigh... E-M-O.

Well from another perspective, I suppose I can now appreciate the whole meaning behind convocation. Upon looking at everyone enter a new phase in life and self-reflecting on my current situation, I came to several conclusions about tertiary education but perhaps the most valuable of all is that I shall not take my second chance for granted.

Laptop was faulty on Thursday. Somehow after completing dianostic, windows cannot operate properly. Dammit.

I practically wasted the rest of Thursday and Friday doing nothing. Well, I do not remember doing anything productive besides attending lessons.

I have been trying to fix my laptop for most part of today. Finally, I resorted to format my laptop. Sigh. Luckily I made a backup for most of the files.

Feeling lazy since Thursday. I got all the information and even a draft to write my assignment but I am not where near completing my introduction. I suppose I made myself think that I can only complete my work with my own laptop. Silly right?! Blea Bleah... no mood to blog as well. cya

well, let's see... haven't updated my blog for a few days.

Saturday, bro drove me, sis and bro-in-law for some sight-seeing. Then, surprise surprise... ended up bro was planning to treat the newly weds spa and massage session. Then it was dinner at Home of Tea Kings. With the spa and all, dinner ended later than expected. Post dinner plan with my buddy was replaced by short supper session. sigh... just before heading home my buddy decided that we buy a drink from 7-11 and chill at the car park in the gated residence. Haha O.o

Sunday, after lunch headed to dad's other condo at Mon't Kiara to chill and enjoy tea. Then it was time to send my sis and bro-in-law off to the airport. sobs sobs. It's going to be another year before I get to see them again. Take care, you guys !!

Monday, lessons again. @#$%^ no break or holiday ?! Parents could not wake up early b'coz everyone's tired from this month's activities. I ended up driving to school. sienz... have to leave early to get car parked and take shuttle bus to my faculty building. Lunch after lessons was the highlight of the day. We ditched a friend who went to draw money without realizing that he does not have his handphone with him. Lol. Friend lost us. The next time we met him was Tuesday morning.

These two day... nothing really significant. It's just lessons and assignment preparation. Irritating my friends and course mates. I think I irritated one too many people. Besides my group of friends, I think the rest of the cohort have terrible first impression of me. lol.

Been doing a little surfing over the weekend again. This time I found "matrix runs on windows". lol. If your computer proficiency is satisfactory, you would enjoy this. Oh yeah, I looking for anyone who has Kina Grannis's songs. I'm keenly searching for indie artist songs.

Officially the second half of the semester has begun. Thursday's microeconomics paper marks the end of mid-term examinations. phew.. done with my Moral Studies presentation and assessment as well.

Already my friends are starting to remind each other on assignment datelines. No break. Disgusting...

Anyway, went down town with friends after mid-terms. We hung out at Petaling Street, Sungai Wang and Times Square. Since I haven't really been to those places in a while, this trip sure brought back some memories of my secondary school years. lol.

I cannot quite remember when was the last time I had a proper weekend's rest. These two night I have been sleeping like a log. I went straight to bed Thursday after dinner at NEROTECA and Friday after dinner with primary school friends at KLCC. I even canceled another supper appointment with my neighborhood friend. Too exhausted.

Either way the past few days have been quite enjoyable. My friends are now planning to organize a reunion BBQ at our primary school. hmm... I am quite looking forward to this !! Tonight, supper with buddy. Hopefully.

completed three mid term examination papers... one more mid term paper and one Moral Studies assessment plus one presentation. doesn't this just look great. *grumble grumble*

These days I just feel darn exhausted. It's like I have been sprinting and sprinting but I cannot see the end point nor the pit stop. SO exhausted and tired of everything I just want to heck it. Management mid-term was "so-so". Just one of those papers you know you will pass but do not feel happy nor disappointed. I suddenly have this blank feeling on all my mid term papers.

After this hectic week... economics assignment, business IT lab assignment, management assignment and moral studies group project. *blink blink* semester will end but still no feeling of hardworking paying off.

Someone tell me what to do ?! I guess that's one reason why I have always preferred doing co-curriculum stuff. I can see my effort and the result.

Anyway, house is a lot peaceful now. My aunt went home today so there's only bro-in-law and sis plus the rest of the family. phew...
